Version 4.6.0:

iPad und iPhone sind jetzt zwei verschiedene Formate. Die exportierten Dateien werden jetzt automatisch von XCode erkannt, wenn sie auf ein App-Icon-Asset gezogen werden.
Diese Version bringt auch Verbesserungen in den neuen Projekt- und Exportfenstern für mehr Konsistenz und Lesbarkeit.

Without an app to try: does anyone know if it supports the newer 1024x1024 icons? The last update seems to have been on the 6th of Oct 2016, so it should - I just don't see any mention of it either here or on the website.

I agree with PaperCut Pro: it is simply the best icon creation tool I've used, period. I have to deploy a set of 50-60 icons on a regular basis, and often after having to make small tweaks to several of them. Icon Slate makes that workflow, previously a nightmare, into a 30 second job. One small flaw: Icon Slate does not create icons in the legacy compressed bitmap formats. I won't lower my rating due to this being a ridiculously small niche that I suspect few people want, need, or care about. For that part of my workflow, I'm unable to use Icon Slate, but it is worth every penny and more nonetheless. The developer is incredibly friendly, knowledgable, and responsive. He's not a "celebrity developer" like some other folks in the Mac community, but after the conversation I had with him, he certainly should be. If you need management for a boatload of icons (and don't have an obscure legacy requirement) you will not be disappointed with Icon Slate. I have no regrets about this purchase, and would have paid many times the price and felt the exact same way about my investment.

I don't understand why Icon Slate has not been rated. It's the best and easiest tool for making icns, icons, ico (for favicon) a Mac icon set, a PC icon set, the 3 sizes in an iTunes set (cover and 2 thumbnail sizes) and more. Did I say easy? Super easy! I probably used it for a couple years as Hobiconer.app and was quite surprised when it was re-released as Icon Slate, slicker and more polished than ever. If you can't put out 5 buck to, at the least, try the best icon finishing tool out there, then you deserve to have the sub-par, shitty looking icons you now have on your projects. But then there's that thing about a sow's ear, where nothing will help you besides hiring someone else to design your icons. Keep it up Jeremy! 5 Stars plus plus! "Ease of use" is meant to be 5 stars but I can't change it

One would nee to try an app like this before spending any money on it. I'm sure your app is the best thing this side of Photoshop. Best of luck to you. ___ I wish MacUpdate would stop listing (Mac App Store) apps. I,m sure Apple likes the free promotion & all the traffic that MacUpdate is sending them. Hope someone is at least getting paid for all the (Mac App Store) promotions. Once you pay Apple for some half baked app listed on the (Mac App Store) , your money is gone and you can forget about Apple refunding you. Wheels move real slow at Apple when returning your money, but they take it at the speed of light.
